Idea 1: The Picnic Starter Plate
You can’t go wrong with a good artisan cheese, salami, crackers, and mixed dried and fresh fruits to start the meal off with class. Don’t forget to include some exotic spreads like my personal favorite pine nut hummus to give your starter plate and extra kick.
Idea 2: Go Green Picnic
Dolmas are fantastic, as are various olives, and pickled vegetables. The best part is you don’t have to worry about spillage and traveling inconvenience!
Idea 3: Have No Fear!
Don’t hesitate to go for something exotic, get your favorite sushi chef to make you a lovely platter.
Idea 4: Don’t Forget Dessert!
Last but not least, Picnic desserts can be petit four, chocolate covered strawberries or your favorite truffles.
Of course, your picnic is entirely up to you. If you are in the mood for fried chicken, potato salad and Jello or sandwiches and chips… go with it! No one will judge you, but if you’re feeling bold don’t hesitate to branch out and try something a little more sassy.
